Kyleann Burtt studied classical & jazz piano at Shenandoah Conservatory.
Moved to NYC in 1985 and has been working as a musician since.

This select group of players each bring their own unique sound and talents to our band.

Lead Vocalist
Joey Doulgas moved to NYC from Atlanta in 1986.
As a singer songwriter she's been involed in many projects nationally and internationally.
She's been the resident vocalist on Bateaux NY Since 2001.
Karl Spicer

Karl Spicer is a New York City based musician who is wary of labels, but happy with diversity.Straddling musical worlds that span from Japan to Brazil to Europe and back to North America, and even including his Yoga Instruction, Spicer seeks to strike a unique blend of influences that is in touch with the Deep Heart running through all these traditions.
Guitarist Tony DePaolo has maintained a more than 30 year professional career recording and performing in New York City and the surrounding Hudson Valley and Tri-State area. He has shared stages with such illustrious guitarists as Larry Carlton,Stanley Jordan and Steve Morse as well as the world renown pop-jazz band Spyro Gyra. Tony's recent recording career has featured him on recordings by vocalist Lindsey Webster,including her number 1 Billboard contemporary jazz hit,"You Change",Phil Perry's recent CD and the upcoming Alex Bugnon CD and tour.Tony has also appeared in musical sequences of the HBO series "The Sopranos" and the Chaz Palmetieri movie "Once More With Feeling". Tony's most recent CD features him in a trio setting with bassist Ira Coleman (Tony Williams, Herbie Hancock, Sting) and drummer Paul Beretta (Leslie West and Mountain.
Ed MacEachen is a jazz guitarist who got his professional start in 1977 in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio where he studied with Bill D'Arrango (sideman with Ben Webster and Dizzy Gillespie).
Ed moved to New York in 1984 where he has worked in the bands of Jack McDuff, Chico Hamilton and Erestine Anderson among many others.
He currently lives and performs in the New York City area and can be heard on Eliot Zigmund's "Starlight" on Ermitage Records and Bill Mobley's "Singularity" on Space Time Records among others.
Ed teaches both in the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music program (since 1995) and at the 92nd Street Y (since 1996).
Guitarist Nate Radley was born in Concord, NH and has been based in Brooklyn for the past ten years. He has recorded three albums as a bandleader and numerous others as a sideman. He has performed throughout North America and Europe and at jazz festivals such the Montreal Jazz festival and the North Sea Jazz festival. Writing in the New York City Jazz Record, David R. Adler referred to Nate as “one of the tastiest and most consistent players on the scene.”
Mark Cocheo

Mark Cocheo is a guitarist based in New York City. He has performed with Melissa Etheridge, Charlie Daniels, Gloria Gaynor, James Burton, James Moody, George Garzone, Bucky Pizzarelli, Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad, Wayne Newton, Tony Orlando, Larry Gatlin, BJ Thomas, Darryl Worley, Collin Raye, The Dan Band and many other artists. In New York, he has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Blue Note, B.B. King's, The Iridium, The Gramercy Theatre, Highline Ballroom, Joe’s Pub, Dizzy’s, Smalls, Cornelia St. Café, The Bar Next Door, The Mercury Lounge, The Bitter End and countless other venues. As a studio musician, his guitar work has also been featured on MTV, ESPN, Fox, and FX. Mark is also an active educator, teaching at LaGuardia Community College. He previously taught at NYU and the National Guitar Workshop. Mark holds music degrees from the New England Conservatory of Music and New York University.
Perry Smith

Guitarist Perry Smith combines the tradition of Jazz with broad influences from contemporary music to create his signature style. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Smith is now based in Brooklyn where he leads his own groups and is a sideman for local and touring artists. Smith’s extensive performance resume includes notable venues and festivals such as the Blue Note Jazz Club (NYC & Tokyo), Smalls Jazz Club (NYC), Dizzy's Club Coca Cola (NYC), Montreal Jazz Festival, Java Jazz Festival (Indonesia), Jazz a la Calle (Uruguay), Rochester Jazz Festival, Philippine International Jazz Festival, The Healdsburg Guitar Festival and SFJazz.
Danny Weller is a NYC based upright and electric bass player and composer.
